I am tired of the speculation for who runs this blog. This site is actually run by a man named Chester Bigley, or "Chet." He leaped at the opportunity to create a blog as a different Chet, and knew that he would get plenty of exposure and visitors. Now that it hit the DSM nightly news, he knows he's succeeded.

Chester works for a golf course in north central Iowa. He drives a silver 2004 Honda Accord. He has a wife, Emily. He enjoys cribbage.

How do I know all this? Because Chester "Chet" Bigley is my brother. He owes me $250, and I told him I'd reveal his identity if he didn't pay up. Congratulations, brother, you just lost your proudest secret.

The Register also reported that the expo did not seek counteroffers from two other interested buyers, one of whom offered more. The attorney and real-estate agent who handled the sale for the expo were both principally employed by Knapp.

In a written purchase agreement with the expo, Neugent, acting on Knapp's behalf, crossed out his original offer and replaced it with a higher figure that topped another bidder's offer by a few dollars. The expo never asked that bidder, Dennis Albaugh, to increase his price. The expo approved the sale to Knapp and Elwell while lunching at Knapp's restaurant.

You forgot this part:

"Two state regulatory agencies with authority over real estate agents and accountants have said they are reviewing whether Knapp officials had conflicts of interests by also representing the expo. The state ethics board is conducting a similar review of former Department of Transportation Director Mark Wandro, who left the agency to work for a DOT contractor during the reporting of the Register series."

Scandal, scandal everywhere. And they thought this cycle would be about Duke Cunningham.

Interesting that it's claimed the supposed author "leaped at the opportunity." Wonder who put Mr. Bigley up to it and who feeds him all of the information to post.
Don't worry, it will soon be known.

None of what's been posted here needs to be "fed." It's all pretty much common knowledge. Granted it's spun, what what isn't? Buncha paranoid conspiracy theorists...

Dear Ronald Bigley:

Pull your undies out of your crack, for cryin' outloud. You're really uptight.
